Projects and Awards
The first stage of a 74-acre solar farm has been conceived and built by SEI. After its completion, expected in 2020, electricity generated by this project will be used by the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. There is a second phase ready to be developed. Also, in Elk Grove, California, a Union Pacific Railroad bridge is being repaired by SEI. A trestle was erected by SEI to carry a crawler crane and a diesel pile hammer.
Two recent SEI projects received Excellence in Construction Awards from the ABC Southern California Chapter this year. The Calleguas MWD in Moorpark, California, was the first recipient of a grant. SEI had to mount Tesla battery storage units on skids at the Huntington Library in San Marino in order to prevent damage to the library’s botanical gardens’ root systems. This company received a Regional Eagle Award for Commercial Electrical Specialty Contractors under $2 million. It also got a national ABC award in March.
