He gained success at achieving its goal of $100 million in contributions from more than 1,200 investors. Jason Hughes has also been a key contributor to San Diego Opera’s successful Opera Ball, the largest annual fundraiser in the opera community. 


In 2008, Jason Hughes received the “Outstanding Contribution Award” from San Diego Opera for his significant and dedicated support of the arts. Hughes Marino has been active on many projects across San Diego County, including Rancho Santa Fe and Encanto, for which he was awarded “Top Developer” by San Diego Business Journal. Hughes Marino is currently involved with several projects in East County, including North Park, with his latest project being Crossroads at Torrey Pines.
